K-POP Unleashed 28/06/2012

Sorry for the late late update you guys. Last week we were busy partying studying like good children but hey~ now you can enjoy all the great songs all at once :D.

Verbal Jint ft Sanchez of Phantom - You Deserve Better (20/06/2012)
Verbal Jint has made a comeback with his new album '10 years Of Misunderstanding'. He released the official mv for his song 'You deserve better' which expresses his on-sided love for a woman who loves a bad guy. In the mv Verbal Jint apparently plays the role of a dog who loves his mistress, the main girl in the mv, but watches her getting hurt by her lover all the time. The song is a beautiful combination of Verbal Jint's rap and Sanchez's sweet but sorrowful vocal. Without further ado check out the mv below:

Busker Busker - If You Really Love Me (20/06/2012)
This band's songs are really made for a sunny day out! The soothing voice goes along very well with the acoustics and you may feel like strolling down a grass field on a sunny, slightly breezy day (results may vary). The song takes you to your own bubble.
The MV consists of various clips from their previous song 'Cheery blossom ending' and of them working....daily we suppose. It's very down to earth and shows us their individual characters when not at work which is nice to see once in a while. It lets us explore their personalities rather than having a set story line to follow. Find out more about their dorkiness below:

2BIC ft Ailee - Love Again (21/06/2012)
Duo group, 2Bic, have released a new music video for their song 'Love Again' which is a song with a mix genre of R&B and hip hop. The song has a very catchy chorus and the harmony between the duo just perfects the song further. Also, Ailee's flawless rap and 2Bic's powerful vocals will blow you away. The mv isn't anything out of the ordinary, just some female back up dancer and sports cars. Check the simple mv and amazing voices below:

Gang Kiz - MAMA (21/06/2012)
Rookie group, Gang Kiz, are back with their second single 'MAMA'. They have released two versions of their main song 'MAMA', a dance version and a drama version. The dance version came out first, we loved the song but the dance mv did not do the song justice. We are sorry to say but the camera work was awful and even if though a dance mv should be more simple than proper mv's their agency should've made better efforts in getting them a better set and outfits.
Anyway, the drama version was so much better so it should've been released first but let's just move on. The drama version shows each member of the group getting a ride from one of the members who owns a mini-caravan-ca-thing (don't know what it's called, sorry). It seems that they've all had bad experiences in love so they go travelling around together as a way to forget. The song is very catchy especially the whistling(?) sound that makes the song even more special. Check out the drama mv below:

FIX- She's my girl
A mellow song from the rising group FIX. It's a song that merges a little bit of pop with what you could consider as ballad lyrics. This style seems to work really well for this song. The focus is on the voice of the singers rather than the background music at many points which really suits the whole song  and makes them sound amazing.
The MV on the other hand is a little psychotic (so be prepared). It's nothing too serious and it fits amazingly well with both the lyrics and the concept of this song which is why we don't want to label it as being over the top.
Check out their addictive, melancholy and a little creepy MV below:
