Friday Favourite: 2PM - Comeback When You Hear This Song

Friday Favorite: 2PM - Comeback When You Hear This Song

We're back, and hopefully for good *fingers-crossed* This week we've decided to review 2PM that have also made a comeback after a long hiatus.

The sexy beasts are back after their 2 year hiatus, and was it worth the wait? Pshaw...Obviously.

Their title song 'Comeback when you hear this song' is from their new released third album 'GROWN'. This album signifies the growth of the members as individuals and as a group, and can be seen in the MV and can be heard in the music. It's been quite a while since we've last seen them and boy are we glad that they are back!

2PM is working hard to break away from the young idol concept and going for a more professional and mature concept which shows they are now the much experienced sunbaes in the idol industry. There is definitely quite a bit of eye-candy scenes in the MV that is drool-worthy so because we're ever so nice we've got a pile of them for you(!) Our sexy oppas with their suits and soothing voices~ what more do you need?

The song in general is a typical love song about taking your boyfriend/girlfriend for granted while they were with you and belatedly realizing the significance of losing him/her after breaking up. The song has quite a lot of electro beats but has a mature sound to it. The song doesn't take in a range of pitches which gives it a constant and smooth voice from 2PM. We like it a lot! It has a very blue hue over the entire MV which suits the overall feeling quite a lot. Great job editing team.

The MV has been thought out carefully and shot beautifully. The overall black and white concept with a touch of soft colours. . .  There are messages throughout the MV that revolve around the concept of the seven deadly sins. Of course you must be pretty familiar with that concept. Each member represents one of the sins....but since 2PM are only six, they decided to give the last one to the female lead which works out great in our opinions.

To be honest, we don't see why she's complaining. Look at them.....it's 2PM. If it was someone else then maybe but.....2PM! what else do we need to say? We'd be all the 7 sins....we'd even invent another one if that meant we could be with them. *time to sit and fantasize, then come back to reality.....just kidding, no one ever comes back once they enter

The main girl's sin - pride. Which she should definitely put aside for 2PM.
Chansung's lust.
Taecyeon and his envy.
Lol. Nickhun's Greed Company.
Junho's Gluttony. Step away from the grape juice.
Junsu's wratH in style.
And finally Woo Young's sloth.
However, we here like to look at things from another perspective. *cue mystery-solving music* You see, the girl, is the one who's all of the sins! She's playing 6 boys at once.....she has to be the evil~ right....right?

She's with Chansung at first. Perfectly happy and content (we assume). However, she has had a taste of 2PM and wants more. Therefore she moves onto her next victim...Khunnieeee!! But you see he's too clever for this game and ignores her. Good move. She then goes onto Woo Young, who's too lazy to play the piano and then Junho, who prefers his wine over her. Frustration takes over her and she lets it all out on Junsu (poor old Junsu) who has no idea what just happened. After these failures, she vows to herself never to fall for another 2PM oppa so when Taecyeon comes along she ignores him and moves on.
You could say she brought this upon herself.
Woah there Chansung~ ...woah....o.o (damn)
Not now....
*slap* Ermyghad Junsu. I want to touch your face
2PM also don't disappoint us with their dance routine which is clean cut and down right fabulous. We feel that it has the same vibe as their previous routine from 'Again & Again'. Of course, with every routine comes a focal dance move like Psy's horse dance move and B.E.G's Hip dance. 2PM this time around have the flashlight hands move (or so we call it - let us know if you have a better name). Their moves match the beat awesomely and we can't complain.

Overall, this is a very catchy song that lets us see 2PM's mature side and we're so glad that they're back.Tell us what you would like to see next. :)

M/V: 5/5
Dance: 5/5
Song: 4.5/5
